ONLINE PSYCHOTHERAPY

My primary way of working is in-person, at LifeChange clinic in Dublin. In-person work is generally preferable, and I would encourage it where it is realistically possible for you. Online sessions are available for those unable to attend in person — whether elsewhere in Ireland, or abroad.

Online sessions take place via secure video call.

While working online is inevitably different from working in person for obvious reasons, what is fundamental to the work still remains — your speech. Depending on your circumstances we can agree as to whether online work might be the best option. In some cases a hybrid approach can work best.

If you’d like to arrange an online session, get in touch to discuss what would work best for you.

It is different, but not necessarily lesser. That said, I would generally encourage in-person work where it’s realistically available to you. There is something in being physically present together that online cannot fully replace. What is fundamental to psychoanalytic work — your speech — remains the same either way, and we can talk honestly about what is right for your circumstances.

A private, quiet space where you will not be interrupted, and a stable internet connection. I will share the details of the secure video platform once a session is arranged.

Yes. I work with clients across Ireland and internationally, online.

Yes. A hybrid approach can work well for some people, depending on circumstances. This is something we can discuss as we go.
