APPROACH
I offer a supportive, reflective, and confidential space to explore emotional and psychological difficulties. My work centres on the unconscious mind — the deeper forces shaping our thoughts, behaviours, and relationships — and on building the self-awareness that comes from understanding them, helping clients move toward greater clarity, emotional freedom, and fulfilment.
I am a fully accredited member of both the Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland (APPI) and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), practising to the profession’s highest ethical and professional standards. I currently offer in-person sessions at LifeChange Clinic.
Areas of focus: Anxiety · Life transitions · Relationship issues · Personal identity & development · Life meaning & purpose · Grief, loss & bereavement · Spirituality & existential concerns · Work issues
Much of what troubles us in the present has its roots further back — in childhood experience, in our closest relationships, in loss, or in moments that were never fully processed at the time they happened. These influences often work beneath conscious awareness, showing up not as clear causes but as patterns: recurring anxiety, difficulty in relationships, a sense of being stuck, or reactions that feel disproportionate to what’s actually in front of us. Psychoanalytic work doesn’t set out to fix these patterns directly, but to understand them — and in understanding them, loosen their hold.
