KRIYA YOGA FAQS
Kriya Yoga is an ancient meditation system that combines specialised spinal breathing techniques with a living philosophy of self-discipline, inner study, and surrender of one’s imagined self. It views the body as a temple and uses energy control to quieten the restless mind, allowing practitioners to see past the mistaken belief that they are defined by their temporary thoughts, emotions, or habits. Popularised globally by Paramahansa Yogananda, this holistic path seamlessly bridges inner mysticism with daily life, transforming every intentional action into a conscious step toward realising one’s inherent divinity and union with the Infinite.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy complements Kriya Yoga. Where Kriya Yoga works to clarify one’s mental field through focused concentration, psychoanalysis works towards a similar clarification by allowing the practitioner to give voice to that which occupies their mind. Both practices aim to work through the residue of conditioning which shapes and influences how one relates to oneself and the world in which they live.
